Can be converted t5o one compartment by opening a zipper in the canvas floor. Top compartment accessible by draw string closure at top, bottom compartment by zipper. Removable third top compartment with two zippered compartments, one inside access, the other outside access. Fully padded back, padded shoulder straps with chest strap, padded waist strap.
