It feels good to have a wicked sore body. We have been pushing our cardio training to the limits. Aggressive runs 4 days a week. Leg workouts. Cross Training and hiking. We are getting after it. In order to preserve our sanity - it helps to physically tax the body.
That said. I think I need a couple recovery days. This is brutal. I was too in the zone during yesterday's leg workout. I tried so hard I made my back sore.
The good news is that I am ‘hurting’ in a good way. Injury is a different ballpark all together. No pain no gain they say. Work to feel the burn. Getting injured really does mean no gain. Protect your mind body and spirit during these times.
