10-26-19: finishing stories
There is nothing quite like finishing a story. All that time invested into the world, the characters and the issues created by the author. Every story has a conclusion. The end always is the most powerful part - and brings with it the most powerful emotions.
Completing projects falls into the same realm. The time, work and energy that goes into a project requires the same emotional investment. There underlying conflict and intrigue as the problem develops. Towards the end - those emotions: fear, excitement, ecstasy and disappoint are liable to appear.
Nearing deadlines is when we must be most aware of the emotions that are impacting our decisions.
